Pam Wood, RDH, MEd

 
 
Pam Wood, RDH, MEd, is an educator with over 30 years of experience in the dental field. She attended the University of Vermont where she received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene Education. In 1994 she was awarded her Master’s Degree in Health Education from Rhode Island College. Pam has also received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from California State in Online Teaching and Learning. In addition to being a practicing dental hygienist Pam is also a CDA, and has practiced in a variety of clinical settings. She is currently an associate professor in the Dental Health Department at the Community College of Rhode Island, where she has taught for over 15 years. Pam is an Item Writer for the Dental Assisting National Board and has served as a Curriculum Consultant for the American Dental Association, Commission on Dental Accreditation. She lectures nationally on a variety of topics and offers both lecture and hands on courses. Pam is known for her innovative approach and enthusiastic presentation style.
