And, back by popular demand, will be the Oklahoma Twister series, "Paradigms in Dentistry". Earn CE credit from your own colleagues; each "Twister" will focus on a dental speciality and will feature ODA member presenters.

And don't forget the Eat & Learn Breakfast - an opportunity to enjoy breakfast while learning about advancements in the dental arts, office management, and technology in a casual round table setting.

Exhibit Hall

The Exhibit Hall in 2008 will feature over 145 booths of various vendors exhibiting the latest goods and services related to the practice of dentistry and the business of running a dental practice. The Exhibit Hall will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16, and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17.

The middle of the Exhibit Hall will feature the DENPAC Silent Auction, which is always one of the most popular events at the Annual Meeting. Numerous organizations and individuals have donated a wide range of goods that will be available for purchase via silent auction. The Silent Auction will open at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning and will close at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Stop by the silent auction, make a bid, and have a free bag of DENPAC popcorn! All profits from the Silent Auction will benefit DENPAC, the Oklahoma Dental Association’s Political Action Committee.

We're showcasing excellent wine selections from five Oklahoma wineries and each will have samples from their excellent vineyards and bottles on-hand to buy!

ODA President's Dinner

On Saturday, May 17, the Annual President's Reception and Dinner will take place. Come join Dr. Krista M. Jones, ODA President, and her husband, Craig, for their Caribbean-themed party! The evening will kick-off at 6:30 p.m. with the tropical sounds of a steel drum band, followed by scrumptious island foods for dinner. And to cap the night off, hit the dance floor with the festive sounds of Souled Out!

Oklahoma City

With the same spirit of the pioneers who settled this city and created one of the most dynamic young towns of the early century, today's Oklahoma City has been reinvented to offer visitors a fun-filled combination of attractions, events, restaurants and amenities. Nowhere will you find a greater concentration of Oklahoma City's modern-day urban vitality than in Bricktown, an early-day warehouse district transformed in the last decade to become the fastest growing entertainment district in the Southwest. Just east of downtown, the area is home to a mile-long riverwalk-style canal, a AAA baseball stadium, shopping, and some of OKC's best restaurants and most active night life. The focal point of beautiful downtown OKC is the futuristic-looking Crystal Bridge, part of the Myriad Gardens Botanical Conservatory. Thousands of tropical plants and desert vegetation fill the seven story, glass and steel structure. On the north side of downtown, you will find the OKC National Memorial and Museum, a stunning tribute that pays honor to the victims of the 1995 terrorist bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. So, as you can see, there is so much to see and do in Oklahoma City - come join us!
