At the completion of this workshop participants will:
- Understand the approach for restoratively-driven access design
- Learn how to use contemporary, controlled-memory files for conservative instrumentation
- Apply bioceramic and modern technology into root canal obturation techniques
- Understand modern conservative restorative considerations for endodontically treated teeth
This lecture will review the current concepts of restoratively-driven endodontics and provide a hands-on experience to learn the techniques to manage endodontic treatment from access to restoration. With a short lecture and and longer hands-on portion, this course will discuss the changes toward a modern and restoratively-driven approach to endodontic treatment, and it will introduce the concept of contemporary instrumentation and obturation using the heat-treated endodontic instruments and bioceramic obturation.

East-coast born, California-raised, Dr. Stephanie A. Tran is a proud graduate of the acclaimed University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she received her dental degree.
To further her education in dentistry, she moved to New York to complete a General Practice Residency program at SUNY Stony Brook University Medical Center. After several years building her comprehensive dentistry background in general dentistry, Dr. Tran then decided to pursue her passion for endodontics, completing her post-graduate endodontics specialty residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she served as Chief Resident of the program.
Dr. Tran is a Board-Eligible Endodontist who specializes in providing comprehensive endodontic care, providing the full range of endodontic treatments, including special-needs treatment, trauma management in addition to non-surgical and surgical root canal treatments.
Her passion for empathetic patient-centered care, combined with her extensive endodontic experience and multi-specialty experience gives her the well-rounded background to better serve her patients. Dr. Tran is involved in both the local dental community as well as the global dental community, where she provides endodontic education on social media and online.
In her free time, Dr. Tran enjoys cooking, painting, exploring NYC's many restaurants, and going to the beach with her dog.
