Why would I want to place a classified ad with the ODA?

Placing an ad with the ODA allows you to target your ad to a specific audience. Unlike other classified ad sources (local newspaper, other online classified sites, etc.), a listing with the ODA gives you exposure to the people who would be most interested in your ad. The online version of the ODA Journal contains active hyperlinks within the advertisement, ensuring you get maximum exposure for your ad.

How do I pay for my ad?

After completing the online form, your listing will be approved or denied, then an invoice will be sent.

  1. By credit card (Discover, Master Card, Visa)
  2. Mail a check to: Oklahoma Dental Association, 317 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.
    Please reference the invoice number of your ad in the memo field.

Who sees my ad?

All members of the ODA receive the ODA Journal, which they often display in their offices for the benefit of other employees and patients. The ODA Classified Advertising webpage is the third most visited webpage on the ODA’s website, making it a perfect place for you to target your listing for the most appropriate audience.

Do I get a receipt for my payment?

Yes, if you pay by credit card, the secure credit card site will provide you with a receipt via e-mail.

If I want my ad to appear in the next ODA Journal, what is the deadline for submission?

The ODA Journal is a bi-monthly publication (6 issues a year). Classifieds must be submitted on or before the first of the prior month.

Why would I want to place a box around my ad?

A box makes your printed classified more noticeable and accessible. Your ad will have a black box around it, drawing attention to it, making it stand out from the other listings on the page.

When will my ad be posted online?

Your ad will be published online within 24 hours (one business day) of the ODA approving the ad.

If I cancel my ad part-way through its run, do I get a refund for the unused months?

No. Ads are paid for up-front and are non-refundable.

Can I renew my ad?

Yes. When your ad expires, or is close to expiring, you may request an extension by emailing Re- submission can be done at any time and the ad will continue running when the current ad expires, if new payment has been received.
