Speaker Bio

Dr. Lauren Lunday is an Oklahoma native who obtained her undergraduate and dental
degrees from the University of Oklahoma. She completed a surgical internship at the
University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and her residency training at Nova
Southeastern University/Broward Health Medical Center/Memorial Regional Hospital
System in South Florida. While at Nova, she was awarded the distinguished honor
of “2016 Resident of the Year” by her colleagues, and also served as the Resident
Organization of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons liaison.
She was a recipient of the AAOMS scholarship for Resident Education and the Philip J.
Boyne Memorial Scholarship. Dr. Lunday is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral &
Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She serves as
a mentor for the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and is a member of the
American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Oklahoma Society
of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Lunday is a clinical assistant professor for the
department of oral and maxillofacial surgery at OU COD and the OMS residency training
program. Dr. Lunday is active staff at Baptist Medical Center, Mercy Hospital, and OU
Health as well as serving on various committees for the Board of Dentistry. Dr. Lunday
enjoys spending time with her twin sons, OU sports, pilates, and attending cultural events.
