Undetectable Anterior Composites with The 5 Minute Finish
Friday, April 29 | 9:15 AM-11:45 AM
Two and a half (2.5) CE Hours | Category B
Course Description
Achieving beautiful invisible restorations with direct anterior composite is a challenge for many clinicians. Anterior composites often are visible due to lack of line angles, facial anatomy, and surface texture. Many of us were taught to finish with discs and cups which obliterate most anatomy and make our restorations apparent and unsightly. This course will give you the secrets to fast and predictable placement, anatomy, surface texture and finishing. Your composites will look like you spent hours of chair time, but it will only take minutes.
As a bonus, you will learn an easy black triangle fix with direct tooth colored composite and a second technique with pink gingiva colored composite. Black triangles are the most common cosmetic complaint in post-clear aligner therapy for adults. Use this technique give your patients the smiles they desire.
Course Objectives
- Learn an efficient technique for achieving beautiful anterior composites by restoring anatomy and surface texture in just minutes of chair time
- Learn a simple black triangle closure with no flash or overhangs. Revise and learn this technique with gingiva-colored composite for the big black triangles
- Review central and lateral anatomy and gingival anatomy to have the confidence to achieve invisible restorations your patients will love
