Oklahoma Mission of Mercy

The Oklahoma Mission of Mercy, or OkMOM, is a two-day, free dental clinic offering treatment to patients that are uninsured, under-insured or would normally not have access to dental care.  At the event, patients will undergo a dental screening to identify their needs and determine a treatment plan.  Each patient is then routed to the appropriate areas of the clinic: oral surgery, extractions, restorations, pediatrics, and hygiene.  Each year, OkMOM volunteers anticipate treating as many patients as possible over the course of the clinic.

Since 2010, Oklahoma Mission of Mercy (OkMOM) has treated 17,381 patients, equaling $14.2 million in donated dental services. OkMOM is sponsored by the Oklahoma Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Foundation and primarily funded by the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Oral Health Foundation. The Oklahoma State Department of Health endorses and supports our mission.

MobileSmiles Oklahoma

MobileSmiles Oklahoma is a nonprofit dental care program dedicated to eliminating barriers to dental care access. With the vital help of volunteer dental professionals, our program utilizes two RV-style mobile dental units that travel across the entire state of Oklahoma delivering free dental care and education. In order to serve patients in need, the MobileSmiles Oklahoma program depends on local site partners (nonprofits, schools, churches and agencies) to host the mobile unit in their communities. These site partners qualifying patients and set appointments for the mobile unit site visit. Individual patients cannot set appointments through MobileSmiles.

MobileSmiles Oklahoma is a partnership program of Oklahoma Dental Foundation and Delta Dental of Oklahoma Oral Health Foundation.

“I can’t express the gratitude I feel for this life changing treatment. If it were not for the clinic, I would have no way to deal with the issues I had. All of the volunteers were so helpful, respectful and I couldn’t have had a better experience.
